Hearing the Writer

After publication of my complaint about not being able to hear “M. Butterfly” at the Wilshire Theatre (“Seeing the Show,” Saturday Letters, July 13) and sending a copy to the Nederlander Organization, I was offered and accepted house seats to attend again.
I also received a call from playwright David Henry Hwang apologizing for the acoustical problems that we experienced and offering his house seats for a performance.
I thanked him--after my goose bumps subsided.
