They Have Their MTV: A Texas-based cable TV system that dropped MTV after complaints about sex and violence in music videos has re-signed with the channel. There was no explanation for TCA Cable’s change of heart on Friday, but protests by customers in Texas may have contributed. On June 28, TCA dropped MTV from the 53 cable companies it services in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, New Mexico and Idaho.
