James Revson, 38, New York Newsday society columnist dubbed “Rat Revson” in a feud with competitive columnist Suzy. Revson, whose father was one of the founders of Revlon cosmetics, joined Newsday in 1984 as an architecture and design writer and began his “Social Studies” column in 1988. He quickly achieved public notice by exposing New York Post columnist Suzy for writing about celebrities appearing at a benefit they did not attend.
