Dow Jones & Co.: The publisher of the Wall Street Journal said its second-quarter profit totaled $34.7 million, down slightly from the year-ago period. Revenue totaled $442.9 million, up from $441.6 million. The company said improved results at its Telerate Inc. financial information subsidiary and lower interest expenses were offset by reduced advertising at the Journal and lower earnings at its community newspapers.
