Three San Fernando children and one adult were wounded by shotgun fire in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night in San Fernando, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The shootings occurred in the 1500 block of Coronel Street near Lazard Street at 8:30 p.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Pat Marek.
A 9-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy were taken by helicopter to Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, said Nursing Supervisor Kathy Stevenson. They were both in good condition, she said.
Two other victims--an adult and a child--were taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Marek said.
No other information on the victims was available, Marek said.
San Fernando police declined to comment.
