Garden Grove playwright Roy Conboy, who won a playwright’s fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts this year, has accepted a full-time position teaching playwrighting at San Francisco State University and will move to the Bay Area in August. Conboy, founder of the Santa Ana-based Cucucuevez Multi-Cultural Theatre Company, said he “assumes” the group will continue to exist in some form, but “it’s up in the air as to what form that will be.” Cucucuevez’s latest production, “Strictly a Formality,” was to have ended Sunday at Rancho Santiago College’s Santa Ana campus.
