FREEWAY REPAIRS

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are identified by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

* Carson: Westbound No. 5 lane from Santa Fe Avenue to Avalon Boulevard, plus the Acacia Avenue on-ramp, Central Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, Wilmington Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, and Avalon Boulevard off-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday; marker repair.

* Cerritos: Connector road from the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91) to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; guardrail repair.

* Paramount: Eastbound No. 5 lane at the Atlantic Avenue undercrossing, plus the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91), and the Atlantic Avenue off-ramp; 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. today; bridge repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER

FREEWAY (605)

* Santa Fe Springs: Southbound No. 5 lane from Telegraph Road to the Santa Ana Freeway (5) junction, the connector road from the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5), and the Telegraph Road on-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

* Downey: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes from the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) junction to Paramount Boulevard, plus the off-ramps at Lakewood and Paramount boulevards; 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; marker repair.

* Downey: Southbound off-ramp at Paramount Boulevard; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

* Norwalk: Southbound alternating lanes of the Firestone Boulevard on-ramp; 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday; stenciling.

* Various cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes between the Orange County boundary and Indiana Street in East Los Angeles; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; sweeping.
