SUMMER ALBUM ROUNDUP : In Brief
** 1/2 Siouxsie & the Banshees, “Superstition,†Geffen. Siouxsie’s longstanding fixation with Beatly psychedelia gets good ‘90s treatment with the lead track, “Kiss Them For Me,†but the rest of these punk survivors’ 12th album offers shiny, faceless elegance in place of the fire, fervor and atmosphere that used to be the band’s trademarks.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor) to five (a classic).
