Tarkanian’s Contribution to Larry Johnson Noted

As an educator and coach, I feel compelled to share my thoughts about the UNLV basketball program and in particular Coach Tarkanian and Larry Johnson. As an integral part of Larry’s Life, I am grateful to Coach Tark for his positive influence, his integrity, and his straightforwardness in working with Larry. As well as a great master of the game, Coach Tark encouraged his players to continue their education. In dealing with Coach Tark the last four years, I found him to be professional and above board at all times.

Larry will continue to have an impact on the basketball world for years to come. He has stayed on track in developing into an outstanding person and player. He will continue to be a positive role model with an excellent attitude and work ethic.
