Rejoice! Britain Has Saved the Wart-Biter

LONDON — Britain’s most endangered grasshopper, the wart-biter, has been reared successfully in captivity for the first time, scientists at London Zoo said Sunday. These grasshoppers are called wart-biters because peasants used them to bite off warts.
