Tribute to Eddie: The town of Albert Lea, Minn., finally paid tribute to its most famous son, rock ‘n’ roll legend Eddie Cochran, during the weekend. Cochran, who died at 21 in a car accident in England in 1960, was born in the farming town. A Saturday-night dance featured Cochran’s band, the Kelly Four. Cochran’s hits include “Summertime Blues” and “C’mon Everybody.”
