Surgery Down Under: Global Healthcare Network, a recently formed Laguna Hills company, has signed an agreement with Med Assistance Pacific of Australia to market “surgery vacations” in the land down under.
GHN founder Pat Rick, a former medical equipment sales manager, says Americans can obtain high-quality medical care in Australia for as much as 60% less than they could at home. The company, which quotes patients a price that includes everything but air fare, can arrange for a variety of procedures, ranging from open heart surgery to hip replacements, vasectomy reversals and cosmetic repairs.
