STAR TREK

“Fans still joke about (William) Shatner’s increasingly unwieldy hairpiece,” Teitelbaum declares.
To keep their careers from receding, Hollywood actors must look good in front of the camera. It is customary for them to artificially enhance what Mother Nature does not provide. Teitelbaum implies that Shatner is vain. But I suspect that Shatner--aware that “Star Trek’s” Capt. Kirk is a larger-than-life hero to many people--wears the rug to please fans, not himself.
