Now Is Time for Big Business to Back Off

The new group called the Corridor Business Coalition, formed to aid the Orange County Transportation Corridor Agencies (“Business Group Unveils Plan to Defend Tollway in Courtroom,” June 5), should back off and allow the TCA to fight its own battles. The pro-development lobbying group claims to want to ensure that the “private sector . . . is heard.”
The fact is that we the people have been heard. We have told our elected officials that we do not want this road (San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor) or the development it will induce.
Please, Big Business, leave us some open space.
