WORLD IN BRIEF : INDIA : 2 More Arrested in Gandhi Slaying

Detectives arrested two alleged accomplices of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s assassin near the southern city of Madras. They were identified as a man named Murugan and a woman named Nalini, sister of S. Bhagyanathan, who was arrested earlier in the week along with his mother, Padma, 49, a nurse. They were said to have sheltered Gandhi’s assassin in their home in Madras.
