Michael Paige, 75, a Los Angeles orchestra leader who played at dozens of parties, conventions and charitable events, among them the Army Ball. He was a saxophonist and clarinetist with several big bands before forming his own group after World War II. On June 1 in Sherman Oaks of a heart attack.
