The recession appears to be crimping driving habits, with gas reserves up and pump prices steady, the Lundberg survey says. The average price of a gallon of gasoline Friday was 125.64 cents, just .71 cents over the survey May 17. “It really shows the effect of the recession that demand for gasoline is down for this time of year,†Trilby Lundberg said. “Clearly, demand is weak compared to available supplies.†Regular self-service unleaded gas was 113.54 cents, premium unleaded 129.48 and regular leaded 107.56.
