Quaker State Corp. has elected Chief Executive Jack W. Corn to the additional post of chairman of the board. Corn was formerly vice chairman and chief executive officer. He succeeds Quentin E. Wood, 68, who earlier announced that he would retire. Corn, 61, been associated with Quaker State since 1957.
