Nation IN BRIEF : NATIONWIDE : Only 14% of Men Eat Less Fat, Study Finds

More than half of men ages 20 to 74 have too-high blood cholesterol levels, but only 14% of those questioned in a survey said they were eating less fat, the American Dietetic Assn. said. While 82% of the men surveyed said they are at least “fairly concerned” about nutrition, just 53% reported changing their diets as a result. Of men who changed their diets, 8% said they were eating less meat and 16% said they were reducing cholesterol.
