Columbia Consolidates Operations: Columbia Pictures Entertainment Inc. plans to move its international theatrical and television divisions to Los Angeles by November. The move from New York is part of a plan to consolidate all divisions in one location. “We expect to achieve important operational synergies by consolidating all of our filmed entertainment operations . . . in one location,†company executive Arnold W. Messer said.
