RECOGNITION: Alfredo M. Amezcua, above, new president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County (D6), said the latest sign that Latino businesses are becoming a force in the county came last month when the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announced it would hold its next quarterly meeting here. “Orange County is being recognized as a place where Hispanic business is taking root and rapidly growing,” he said.
