Pacoima Man Slain After Answering Door

A 28-year-old Pacoima man was shot and killed after he answered a knock on his door, Foothill police said Saturday.
Investigators responding to reports of gunshots found Juan A. Briseno collapsed on the floor of his apartment in the 12600 block of Van Nuys Boulevard about 9:15 p.m. Friday. The victim was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.
Police said they as yet have no suspect or motive for the slaying.
