Thomas Greene; Led D.A.’s Fraud Investigation Unit

Thomas (Ike) Greene, 57, former head of the Los Angeles County district attorney’s Welfare Fraud Investigation Unit. Greene, who recently retired as a lieutenant, was the first special investigator assigned to the prosecutor’s Career Criminal Unit and among the first blacks to head sections in the district attorney’s office.
