Angels Flying In: “City of Angels,” winner of six Tony Awards, including best musical, will open the 1991-92 season of the Orange County Performing Arts Center. The play is expected to be mounted at the center in late fall. The spoof of 1940s hard-boiled detective novels and film noir opened on Broadway in December, 1989, and will play the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles beginning June 12.
