Arlington 10, Brea-Olinda 0--Sophomore right-hander Tim Carlson (9-1) had a no-hitter through 4 1/3 innings and finished with a two-hitter for top-seeded Arlington (25-4), which won its 10th consecutive game.

Paul Garcia’s ground-ball single to left ended Carlson’s no-hit bid in the fifth.

Arlington used an 11-hit attack to score three runs in the first inning, highlighted by Steve Martinez’s two-run home run.

Brea finished 15-12.
