Raytheon to Offer Britain Patriot Missiles: Raytheon Co.’s Missile Systems Division has signed an agreement with a British firm to offer the Patriot defense system to Britain’s Ministry of Defense, the Lexington, Mass., company said. The Patriot missile achieved fame during the Persian Gulf War for its success in downing Iraqi Scud missiles over Saudi Arabia and Israel. The value of the agreement with British Aerospace (Dynamics) Ltd. was not disclosed.
