Fenimore Raises Stake in TransWorld Bancorp

Fenimore Asset Management Inc., a mutual fund operator based in Cobleskill, N.Y., raised its stake in TransWorld Bancorp to 8.3% of the Sherman Oaks-based company’s stock.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Fenimore said it bought an additional 5,700 shares of TransWorld, the holding company for TransWorld Bank. Fenimore has bought the stock since March 12 for $12 to $13.50 a share, giving the company a total of 96,748 shares, the filing stated.
