Trabuco Hills 11, Corona del Mar 6--T.J. Alvarez led off the seventh with a home run to give Trabuco Hills (13-10) the go-ahead run in a five-run inning. The Mustangs will play at Rosemead (20-1) Friday. Neil Weber hit a grand slam for host Corona del Mar.
In the Small Schools Division:
Liberty Christian 19, Calvary Chapel Downey 14--Visiting Liberty Christian broke a 5-5 tie with 13 runs in the fifth inning and will play at Palos Verdes Chadwick (13-4) in a first-round game Friday. Jeremy Anderson had five hits and four RBIs for Liberty Christian (15-7).
Santa Ana Calvary Chapel 12, St. Margaret’s 4 (nine innings)--Danny Fuller had two hits in an eight-run ninth at Saddleback College. The Eagles (11-6) will play at Anza Hamilton (16-4) in a first-round game Friday.
