Jury selection began in the Los Angeles Municipal Court case of three USC football players charged with misdemeanor counts of battery, false imprisonment and sexual battery stemming from a dorm room incident with a USC graduate student last July. Michael Jones of Panorama City, Willie McGinest of Long Beach and Jason Oliver of Bakersfield are the defendants in the trial before Judge Edward A. Ferns.
