Exxon Dealers Sue Company: A group of Exxon dealers has filed a lawsuit accusing the oil giant of cheating them out of hundreds of millions of dollars in promised discounts, then compounding the damage by mishandling the Valdez spill. The lawsuit was filed in Miami federal court on behalf of dealers from Florida, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. As a class action, lawyers said it ultimately could include up to 6,000 gas station owners. Milton Wallace, a lawyer for the dealers, said the retailers’ losses could run as high as $400 million.
