Controversy Over Lomax
There seems to be a major point that has not been raised concerning Lomax and the Police Commission. The pertinent document that is the object of the turmoil should never have been stamped “confidential.†There is nothing contained in the body of the document that is not otherwise available to the public. It simply cited the pertinent authority concerning the Police Commission’s options. Therefore, in some respects, the city attorney has caused much of this brouhaha by stamping a document “confidential.â€
