A Palmdale man was seriously injured after being struck in the head by gunshots fired into the house where he sat talking with friends, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said Sunday.
Fidencio Muro, 20, was with several people in the living room of the house in the 500 block of East Avenue Q-12 in Palmdale about 8:50 p.m. Saturday when they heard shots and the sound of breaking glass, witnesses told sheriff’s deputies.
Muro fell to the floor after being shot in the head, Lt. Tom Pigott said. Muro was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center in Lancaster, where he was listed in critical condition late Sunday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
There are no suspects in the shooting, Pigott said.
