60 Hindu Pilgrims Drown

NEW DELHI — A boat packed with Hindu pilgrims capsized Sunday on the Godavari River in southern India and at least 60 people drowned, the United News of India reported. The boat was designed to hold 40 passengers but was ferrying more than 130 people to a religious festival, UNI said.
