Residents Return After Blast at Chemical Plant

NEWARK, Ohio — About 800 people returned to their homes Thursday after firefighters plugged a leak caused by an explosion at a chemical plant. The blast Wednesday night critically injured a worker at the Organic Technologies Inc. plant. Firefighters used foam to stabilize a drum that was leaking an unidentified chemical.
