POETS’ CORNER
Re “at the barâ€:
Is this, by any stretch of the imagination, poetry? I can only believe that you were kidding or were very short of space. The token poem you print each week is usually a pretty pathetic sample, but this takes the cake!
I can see it appearing in a selection of poems by Craig Cotter where a reader has a chance to get a fair representation of his work, but to print this alone is unfair to him and insulting to a reader’s poetic sense.
If you can’t do better than this, why bother?
