San Gabriel : More Disclosures Required
Nine new categories of city employees will have to file economic disclosure forms under state conflict of interest laws, the City Council decided last week.
Employees who will have to file economic disclosure forms by March 1992 are the director of parks and recreation, design review committee members, city clerk, deputy city clerk, police captain, associate civil engineer, city planner, code enforcement officer and all city consultants.
The state allows individual cities to choose which employees are covered by the laws, which are enforced by the state Fair Political Practices Commission. Already required to file in San Gabriel were the mayor, council members, director of public works, senior building inspector, building inspector, police and fire chiefs and fire marshal.
