S.D. Section Teams Seeded

San Diego Section Division II girls’ basketball champion El Cajon Valley and Division V boys’ champion Christian on Sunday received the highest seeding, second, among local teams for the Southern California Basketball Championships.
El Cajon Valley plays host to Ventura on Tuesday in a first-round game.
Christian plays Rio Hondo at Valhalla High as part of a doubleheader. The No. 3 Christian girls face Rio Hondo in the first game.
A doubleheader will also be played at No. 4 Poway, and No. 3 Lincoln has a doubleheader tentatively scheduled for Morse High.
