Santa Monica : Phone Book Recycling

Santa Monica residents may drop off old phone books for recycling at two sites later this month.
Trash bins marked “Phone Books Only” will be located on the north side of City Hall, 1685 Main St., and the Santa Monica Community Recycling Center, 2411 Delaware Ave.
Jon Root, the city’s recycling coordinator, said phone books should not be left in newspaper recycling bins or set aside for the city’s curbside collection program.
