Culver City : Project Meeting Tonight
A proposal to build homes and an office park partly in Culver City and partly in Los Angeles will be explained at a public meeting tonight.
Plans call for the Vista Pacifica project to be built on about 55 acres southwest of Jefferson Boulevard and Holdrege Avenue, near Culver City Park. About half of the vacant, hilly land is in Culver City and half in Los Angeles.
Two-thirds of the site would be developed into a guard-gated residential community of about 125 homes with lots of 10,000 to 15,000 square feet.
The rest of the site would be used for a low-rise office park and a landscaped area separating it from the residential area. The office complex would include four buildings with about 450,000 square feet of office space.
The developer, the Jensen Group, based in Newport Beach, will present its plan at 7:30 p.m. at the City Council chambers, 4095 Overland Ave.
