PLATFORM : Gates Must Go

This is not the first time that Gates has made this type of insulting or excessive comment. These continuous rebuffs against minority groups clearly show that Gates is evidently not qualified for a position such as chief of police of a metropolis characterized by its ethnic and racial diversity.

It is deplorable that Gates has sought to use (this killing) as a pretext to discredit a whole group. To associate this to the nationality and the immigration status of the (attacker) is intentional and malicious distortion of the facts.

Gates’ derogatory remarks are not limited to this kind of emotional situation. We are talking of a constant attitude of the chief of police, which hinders him from treating with equanimity the deeds and groups with which he comes in contact. This makes his performance less effective and affects the whole staff under his command.
