Soviet Theater Official Plans Open Forum
The artistic director of Moscow’s Theater on Spartacus Square will conduct an open forum at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the University Theatre at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Svetlana Vragova, with the help of a translator, will discuss “Glasnost Under Fire--On Life, Theater and the New Crackdown in the Soviet Union.†The open forum is part of Vragova’s two-week residency, which began Tuesday, with the Theatre Department at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
