Sticky Situation: The PBS series “Nature” will air a special that explores the effects of the Persian Gulf oil spill on the environment. “The Gulf: Portrait of the War Zone” will be broadcast on KCET Channel 28 on Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. The program is a newly edited, re-narrated version of a 1984 segment of “Nature” about the fragile ecology of the Gulf area, at that time threatened by the Iran/Iraq War. The new edition will include footage of the current devastation on the Gulf’s wildlife.
