Manville Corp.: The Denver-based manufacturing and natural resources company said fourth-quarter net income plunged 83% to $8.6 million, while revenue rose 3.7% to $590.2 million. For the year, net income skidded 44% to $110.8 million, while revenue advanced 2.4% to $2.245 billion. Manville recorded pretax restructuring charges of $38.8 million for the quarter and $48 million for the year in part because of an agreement to pay off asbestos injury claims.
