DANA POINT — John Klink, boys’ and girls’ athletic director at Dana Hills High School for nine years, resigned Monday and was replaced by basketball Coach Rich Skelton.
Klink, 44, will continue as a varsity track assistant and plans to coach freshman football in the fall.
“I want to spend more time with my family,” Klink said. “I was doing a bad job at home and at the office, so something had to go.”
Skelton, a former athletic director at Workman High School, will continue as the school’s varsity basketball coach.
