IRVINE : School Board, City Council Will Meet

The City Council and school board will meet Tuesday afternoon to discuss issues affecting the city and schools.
Topics include how to coordinate youth services in Irvine and how to update an agreement between the city and school district for joint use of facilities such as swimming pools.
Council members and school trustees are also scheduled to discuss ways of meeting car-pooling requirements mandated by the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
The 4:30 p.m. meeting will take place at the school district office, 5050 Barranca Parkway.
