I am a huge fan of Jim Murray, but he completely missed the boat with his Monday article on the Super Bowl. “A pair of treys beat three aces?” A bluff? How simple. I wonder why the Raiders didn’t do that.
I think we all may have been seduced by the flash and magic of Joe Montana as of late, but the Giants played hard-nosed football and beat the Bills physically. You made the deadline, big guy, and I admire you tremendously, but the article was just copy. You and the good folks who gave me the Giants plus seven points seem to have forgotten who beat up the two-time world champions a week before.
