LIBYA’S MOAMMAR KADAFI said he expects the Gulf War to ultimately lead to World War III. From an interview on ABC’s “20/20:”
“I think the war is going to extend to the borders of the Soviet Union and Iran and that’s going to provoke all the Islamic nations, and that would lead to a Third World War, and we will pay very dearly for it. . . . I think everybody who’s participating in this war is crazy.”
