The ground strategy for fighting Iraq is being conducted “exactly right,†presidential spokesman Marlin Fitzwater said. Fitzwater was asked if President Bush was concerned that the Marines may have provoked the Iraqi attack at Khafji by lobbing artillery across the border when the allied forces were not ready for a full-scale ground war.
