P.M. BRIEFING : Britain to Host Group of 7 in July

LONDON — Britain will host the 1991 economic summit of the Group of Seven industrial nations in London from July 15 to 17, Prime Minister John Major’s office said today.
The G-7, which has been holding annual summits since the 1970s, groups Britain, the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan.
The European Community will also be represented at the July meeting by the Netherlands, rotating president of the 12-nation group during the second half of 1991.
