Public Warning

Bundles of flyers were dropped off at a city facility this week. We’ll be seeing them soon--along with our water bills. They were printed by Caltrans at taxpayer expense and they are now being collated and mailed--again at taxpayer expense.
Their purpose? To enable illegal aliens to enter this country more safely.
I have a problem with this. We have laws in this land pertaining to illegal immigration, and here we have two governmental agencies encouraging us to slow down so that illegals may race several lanes of freeway and enter our city more safely.
Does anyone else see a dichotomy here? Does anyone else have a problem with officials spending our money and using our facilities to help those who are breaking the law? Or am I a voice in the wilderness?
